Steering Bolt

Located on the front of the steering tube
The Steering Bolt limits the turning range when in use. It is used only when changing modes.

By loosening this hand bolt you will be able to rotate the handlebars 180 degrees so that the throttle and controls are in the same operating position when in both walking and riding modes.

Make sure to tighten the bolt snug after you have completed your mode changes. It is good practise to check this bolt often.

throttle white.jpg

Throttle

Located on the right side of the handlebars.

The throttle is used to control power output.

The throttle is a motorcycle style rotating throttle. By rotating the throttle towards you will increase speed and rotate away from yourself to reduce speed and brake. The more you twist the throttle the greater the power output level and faster the speed.

Tip

The throttle is electric and has very little back pressure therefore requires only gentle twisting to operate. The throttle has a twist radios of approximately 1 inch or a quarter revolution. Over twisting or aggressive use could damage the throttle system. Try it a few times while stationary to get the feeling of its operation
